41. Cubic kilometers - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
900k m3 As opposed to 900 km3 Space. It's not important how much of it there is, but where it is.

Originally by: Baldour Ngarr If you need out-of-game help to play the game, then you're doing it wrong. So http://www.eve-iss.com is evidence that you're doing it wrong? Or are you going to start making some sort of vague limits as to...

43. Teamspeak! No! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
As many have stated, it's not neccessary for everyone to speak on TS, as long as they listen on TS. In fact, when it's late on Friday or Saturday night, it's probably best if only the commander can speak... :) One suggestion to lag caused by TS, ...

44. Lag/Macro solution - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Jenny Spitfire TBH, I doubt macro miners are the *major* cause of the lag. Pls stop blaming them. Depends, of course, on the definition of "major". But when there are DOZENS of them PER SYSTEM in high sec, it adds up. I...

46. The State of the Hardware Address, Hellmar's new Dev Blog - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Dare I say it? Yes: Kick out the thousand ISK farmers / macro miners mining 23/7 and you'll see a drastic drop in server loads. You'll lose paying accounts, but you'll save the money when you don't have to upgrade the servers yet. A normal custom...

Insightful. Inspiring. I'm sure this is one of those messages that gets printed and taped on the wall in the devs' office. They'll start their day with a cup of coffee, glance at the Wall Of Brilliant Feedback, and spend the rest of the working da...

48. minmitar help plz... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It's "Minmatar", and "please". The way I view the word "plz" is this: A person using the word knows he's asking others to do something for him, so he knows he should be polite when asking, but he's actually too lazy to ask politely, so instead he...

49. Upgrade Status - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
"Starting to panic"? I started to panic an hour before the DT started, I'm well past panic and into a catatonic, almost vegetative state by now.

50. So, what did you buy before the patch? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Haven't actually bought anything yet, but I'm thinking some chips, maybe some donuts, perhaps a sixpack or a twelvepack of beer... Hmm, chocolate cupcakes might also go on the shopping list.

53. trial account changes - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Embrace the change. With a free trial account, you get what you pay for. There's plenty of things to fill the two weeks a free trial lasts. If you're a real newbie, you won't even notice that you can't train industrials until your time is up.

Checking to see if anything in my apartment turns out to be a female humanoid, so I can try to... "interact" with it/them. So far, I've scared the cat and worried the TV.

59. New Record Again! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

60. New Record Again! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
